Budapest - Week 2

There was another week of mostly nice weather in Budapest with just one afternoon of rain & the rest of the time it was mild temps & sunny.  I ran every day over the past week including a run over 4 of the main bridges in town.  I did quite a few walks around town & found some good spots for night photography.  I also hit the spa/bath place again, went to a Serbian restaurant, went to the unlimited consumption Hungarian restaurant, & had a few beers at a ruin pub.  My time in Budapest was a nice break for me after a month of travel.  My next stop is Ukraine.  I have a Wizzair flight from Budapest to Kiev, a bus ride across town to a different Kiev airport, & a one hour flight from Kiev to Lviv.  I am spending 3 nights in Lviv.

Here are some photos from my 2nd week in Budapest.

Subway line #1, originally constructed in the 1890s.

The most scenic streetcar line in Budapest.
Heroes Square
City park with castle.
Ronald Reagan statue facing a Soviet war memorial in the same city square.
This "smart guy" climbed the roof of the mobile bar.  A few seconds after this photo, the bar made an abrupt stop & "smart guy" almost fell off the roof.

Photos from the ruin pub I visited.

View from the Pest side of the river.

Margarit bridge, a few minutes from the apartment I rented.
Food tent at an outdoor festival.
View from the front door of the apartment I rented.
