Riga - Art Nouveau

When most people think of countries in the former Soviet Union, they do not picture beautiful architecture, but instead ugly communist block style high rises. While there are plenty of those types of buildings still around. There are also plenty of art nouveau style buildings that were built in the late 1800s through the First World War in Latvia. There are over 750 of these types of buildings in Riga.  Here are some of more famous ones that I found while walking around town.
